The Cat Community Centers (Triple C's) keep our adult cats happy and healthy during their stay with us--which could be lengthly. Up to 15 cats live cage-free in each of the 4 trailers, so they can enjoy kitty camaraderie, sunshine, and cuddles from visitors who sit in a comfy chair.
Not only do our Triple C cats stay more active and healthy, they are adopted much more quickly.
2009 Triple C stats: - Number of cats: 110 (up 21%) - Number of cats adopted: 97 (up 63%) - Average length of stay: 4 to 6 months

Success "Rains" on Critter Invitational Attendance: Almost 150 Funds Raised: Nearly $60,000
Despite a weekend of flooding rains, we held our 17th annual Critter Invitational on Monday, June 7. We couldn't have done it without the management teams at Dearborn Hills and TPC Michigan, led by Lee Morris (DH) and Lee Woodruff (TPC), along with Xceed Business Solutions, who came to our rescue. Both Lee's, as well as TPC's Nate Matejek and Danielle Daniot, artfully rearranged the event and masterfully managed to accommodate all of our golfer and attendee needs.
The Friends thank all of Critter's volunteers, donors and supporters. You help keep us on par!
Check out the full Critter recap. View our Critter photo gallery, courtesy of Petparazzi, Ed Serecky.
Though our office staff and the animals are back in the shelter; we still have a lot of items to move back. We would like volunteers to come in during business hours to help organize, pack things up, then move the items back into the shelter. This way, we will be more organized, and efficient. For a list of additional needs, read the Volunteer Enews. To volunteer, contact Sue Clifton at dasclifton@aol.com
